Our 2026-2027 season promises another unforgettable performances for audiences of all ages. We will announce this year's company and spring production September 2026.

Scholarship applications are available

The Orangeburg Civic Ballet offers three scholarships to support our students:

 

  • Dr. Ann V. Hurst Memorial Scholarship (ages 9–13)

  • Myrtle McDaniel Memorial Scholarship (ages 14–High School)

  • Kelly Blake Evans Memorial Scholarship (collegiate students pursuing dance studies)

 

All scholarships are applied directly to tuition. Applications for the 2025–2026 season are now open and due by November 17, 2025.

 

The process includes a dance audition, tentatively scheduled for January 18, 2026. Applications can be found on the OCB Band (Files).

2026-2027 Audition Registration

Save the Date! Auditions take place at Tamalyn's Dance Centre on September 12, 2026 at 4:00pm.

 

OCB Audition Registration is now open!

Registration fee: $25.

 

You have the option to pay online for both the registration and/or your company leotard. You may also pay in cash/check at the studio.

Educational Outreach

Through our educational outreach programs, the Orangeburg Civic Ballet is committed to sharing the magic of dance with students across the region. 

School performances of The Nutcracker & the Polar Express will be presented at Cornerstone Church in Orangeburg, 1481 Chestnut Street. Performances will begin at 9:30 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2026.

All school performances are $5.00 per student. For every ten students, school will receive one adult ticket. All other adults are required to pay $10, which is our regular ticket price. To reserve seats for your group, you must submit a notice of intent by e-mail to ocbschoolshow@gmail.com.
